In addition, it produces owned IP and for-hire projects, including SuperKitties Season 2, 3 and 4; Phoebe & Jay, a 2D preschool series for PBS kids; It's Andrew!, a preschool animated series; and Unicorn Academy, a children's fantasy-adventure series, as well as distributes content across streaming platforms, linear television, and its ad-supported and subscription-based video-on-demand services and apps, including Kartoon Channel! and Ameba TV. It serves various customers and partners, including broadcasters, consumer products licensees, and online platforms. The company was formerly known as Genius Brands International, Inc. and changed its name to Kartoon Studios Inc. in June 2023. Kartoon Studios Inc. was incorporated in 2006 and is headquartered in Beverly Hills, California.
