Free stock portfolio tracker with live profit & loss

AlfaFinances is a portfolio tracker for individual investors. Add what you own, and it shows each position's live value, profit and loss, and how your mix looks, without connecting a brokerage account or giving up control of your money.

How it works

  1. Create a free account and open the Portfolio tab.
  2. Add a stock to your watchlist, then set the amount you invested.
  3. Watch value and profit and loss update with live prices, and set alerts for the moves you care about.

What it does not do

AlfaFinances tracks positions. It does not connect to your broker, place orders, or hold money. Holdings are entered by you (or imported from a CSV on Plus and Pro), so the tracker is only as complete as what you enter. Prices come from public market data and can be delayed.

Frequently asked questions

Is the portfolio tracker really free?

Yes. The free plan lets you track up to 5 holdings and 10 watchlist tickers with live profit and loss, up to 3 price alerts and a trade journal, with no credit card. Plus and Pro raise those limits.

Do I need to connect my brokerage account?

No. AlfaFinances does not connect to brokers. You enter your holdings yourself, or import a CSV on the Plus and Pro plans.

How accurate and how fresh are the prices?

Prices come from public market data sources and are treated as delayed reference figures, which can lag the live market by several minutes. They refresh about every minute, and faster on Pro.

Does AlfaFinances buy or sell stocks for me?

No. It never places trades or holds funds. It is a research and tracking tool, and anything it shows is information rather than a recommendation.

Can I track holdings in different currencies?

Positions are stored in US dollars and can be displayed in your local currency using a live exchange rate, so the P&L you see is converted rather than estimated from a static rate.
