Find stocks to research: movers, sentiment and market lists

AlfaFinances helps you find stocks worth a closer look using live market lists and comparisons. To be upfront: it is a discovery toolkit, not a custom-criteria screener. You can't yet filter the whole market by your own P/E, market-cap or dividend ranges.

Ways to discover stocks today

Use discovery lists carefully

Lists of top movers are dominated by volatile, often small companies, and a stock being up today is not a reason to buy it. Treat a list as a starting point for research: read the company profile, check valuation and risk, and consider how it fits the rest of what you own.

Next steps once you find a stock

  1. Open its page to read the company overview, key facts and performance.
  2. Check the AI score and price outlook, and any recent insider activity.
  3. Add it to your watchlist and set an alert.

Frequently asked questions

Does AlfaFinances have a stock screener?

Not a custom-criteria screener. You can't yet filter the whole market by your own numeric ranges. You can discover stocks through live top movers, market lists by country, sentiment, peer comparisons, an investing-style quiz and the Ask Alfa assistant.

Which markets are covered?

The Trending page covers the US, UK, EU, Canada and India. The dashboard also includes lists for other countries, ETFs and currencies.

Are top gainers a good place to find stocks to buy?

Not by themselves. They are volatile, and a big move today says little about the future. Use them as a prompt to research, not a signal to buy.

Is it free?

Yes. Trending and the discovery tools are free to use. Higher plans mainly raise watchlist, portfolio and alert limits.
